Tourista Policies

  • Reservations and Payments: Reservations and payments for all Tourista trips can be made here or by contacting the Touristas Co-Chairs at  All payments are due at the time of reservation in order to hold your seat.   Any payments using a credit/debit card or made online will incur an additional $1 transaction fee.  Reservations must be made by the trip RSVP deadline which is typically 3 weeks prior to the trip date.  Please refer to the trip details for each trip on the Reservations and Payments page.  There are limited seats per trip so please make your reservations early in order to secure your seat.  In the event that we fill all seats in the bus, we will have a wait list available.
  • Eligibility:  CBSC Touristas trips are open to all CBSC members 18 years and older.
  • Guests: All members of CBSC receive priority on trips.  If space is available after accommodating all interested members, non-member guests 18 years and up are welcome to attend.  
  • Cancellations:  All reservations made and paid are FINAL.  Due to strict deadlines with the transportation bus company, we are unable to give refunds.  In the event of an emergency situation and the trip is full, we will work with you to get a replacement from the wait list, if there is one available.
  • Tour Cancellation: The Touristas Chair reserves the right to cancel a trip if there are not enough paid participants to cover the cost of the trip.
