September 2017 – Autism School of Carlisle

At the September luncheon, the Outreach committee is asking members to bring donations of the following items in support of the Autism School of Carlisle:

  • Art Supplies
  • Construction Paper
  • Paint Canvases
  • Markers
  • Expo markers
  • Post its
  • Tissue Paper
  • Glue sticks
  • Notebooks (single subject)
  • Picture frames to display artwork
  • Music supplies
  • Plastic recorders
  • Hand instruments such as maracas or castanets
  • Drums
  • Mini keyboards
  • Children’s music or dance CDs
  • Gym supplies
  • Badminton set
  • Volleyball net
  • Floor Hockey set
  • Pool noodles
  • T-ball stand with foam or plastic bats

Amish Country Trip 9-29-16 *Seats added*

Due to overwhelming popularity, our Tourista co-chairs have been hard at work and have added a second bus!  Reservations may be made here until September 14th at 5pm.  If we do not have enough seats sold on the second bus by end of day on Wednesday we will notify those that have signed up of the cancellation and make arrangements to return your payment. Trip Name: Amish Covered Bridge Buggy Ride/Shopping & Dining at Kitchen Kettle Village

Trip Date: Thursday, September 29, 2016 8:30am-3:15pm

The bus will be departing from the PX parking lot.

Trip Description: Join the CBSC Touristas on a 55 minute Amish Buggy ride through the Amish countryside, through a beautiful covered bridge. Followed by a visit to Kitchen Kettle Village , with over 40 unique shops. Shopping and lunch at Village on your own. On the way home, we will stop by Ronks Countryside Amish Roadstand featuring homemade crafts, quilts, soft serve ice cream, hand-made pretzels, baked goods, home-made root and birch beer, plus apple butter! This trip is limited to 44 people.

Trip RSVP & Payment Deadline: September 14, 2016 5pm

Cost: $35/per person, includes transportation and Amish Buggy Ride

Registration:
Any payments made online or with use of debit/credit card will incur an additional $1 service fee.
