Trip Description: Back by popular demand! Designated a National Historic Landmark, the Pennsylvania State Capitol was designated to be the Palace of Art and is located in the heart of Harrisburg. Join us for a guided tour and enjoy Beaux-Art style and Renaissance themes throughout. President Theodore Roosevelt stated that it was the, “handsomest building,” he ever saw. Before our guided tour of the Capitol Building we will visit the Broadstreet Market, on the National Register of Historic Places and one of the oldest continuously operated farmers markets in the U.S. Here we will shop and dine over 40 vendors.

Trip Description: Join the CBSC Touristas on a Fall trip to the mountains for some wine tasting! The Winery at Hunters Village will provide us with a guided wine tasting of five wines, including a souvenir wineglass and cheese, cracker and fruit tray. Wine will be available to purchase after the tasting. Next, we will visit Bucks Valley Winery and Vineyard. Lunch will be homemade brick oven pizza and strombolis. We will have a wine tasting of 5 wines and a tour of their wine-making facility. Wine will be available to purchase before leaving. This trip is limited to 44 people.

The bus will be departing from the PX parking lot.

Trip Description: Join the CBSC Touristas on a 55 minute Amish Buggy ride through the Amish countryside, through a beautiful covered bridge. Followed by a visit to Kitchen Kettle Village , with over 40 unique shops. Shopping and lunch at Village on your own. On the way home, we will stop by Ronks Countryside Amish Roadstand featuring homemade crafts, quilts, soft serve ice cream, hand-made pretzels, baked goods, home-made root and birch beer, plus apple butter! This trip is limited to 44 people.

Trip Description: Visit the 28th Annual Christkindl Market. This is an authentic outdoor German Christmas market and the oldest Christmas Market in America. There are a lot of great reasons to visit the Mifflinburg Christkindl Market, but here are a few things that visitors enjoy each year- Live Nativity, sweet treats like cookies, candy apples, German roasted nuts and streusels. Unique gifts like hand blown glass ornaments, nutcrackers and spun trees (Spanbäume), turned trees (Kräuseelbäume), Christmas pyramids (Weihnachtspyramide), candle arches (Shwibbögen), the lantern parade and last but not least spiced wine (Glühwein)! After visiting the Christkindl market we will head over to Rusty Rail Brewery for lunch. There are 44 seats available for this trip.
